I will give you a brief run down on the franchiseand the cabins...
We are currently upgrading the website so will look more professional in the new year.
Room2rent cabins is a semi passive investment business which will give you approximately 20%
plus net return based on 90% of the cabins rented out.
There are 3 sizes of cabins: standard, large and extra large, which can be rented from $65-$100
per week depending on your area and other competitors prices in the area.
When delivering a cabin you can charge a delivery fee starting at $200 +
bond (generally 3 weeks rent) +
Curtains +
First weeks rent on delivery as well.
Costs:
Franchise fee: on application
This gives you an exclusive area of approx 70000 households or 200,000 people, which should allow you to grow the business to 50 or more cabins. Business cards, uniform, xero training and package, car sign writing also included.
Additional up-front costs:
Drawbar, wheels, tailgate section, rattle gun
$4000 plus gst
We would like you to commit to 20 cabins as a minimum for your area and will supply these over the first 12-18 months.
Standard Cabins
Large Cabins
A deposit of 50% is required on each cabin order and the remainder before they are shipped to you. Generally we supply in amounts of 3 to fill the truck up, but single orders can be made.
There are royalty charges of approx $10 plus GST per cabin per month, which will go to the website, Google ad word advertising, nationwide marketing etc, freephone number.
This is just the basics, but a cabin business is very easy to run and you could keep your full time job while building the cabin empire or run an exiting business.
We are a young franchise with South Auckland and Wairarapa sold, I have 130 cabins in Manawatu and Bay of Plenty.
